Meta Launches Seller App for Facebook Marketplace

Meta has launched a brand-new iPhone app officially called Seller, a dedicated Facebook Marketplace application. The new Meta app is specifically for users managing listings on Marketplace, the social network's virtual storefront for physical items.

The Seller app provides a seller home dashboard that surfaces priorities — items to ship, buyers to respond to, listings to reprice — alongside sales performance snapshots. Meta AI fills in listing details like title, description, price, and category from uploaded photos. Users can manage inventory at scale with bulk reprice, relist, or delete actions, and create multiple listings at once.

Buyer conversations live separately from personal chats, allowing faster responses. The app tracks views, saves, and messages, offering pricing recommendations and relisting suggestions based on what's selling. Seller is the second new iPhone app from Meta this week, alongside the AI-powered children's story creation app Story Kit (limited test). The Seller app is available broadly for free on the App Store.
