Apple has multiple new Macs launching later this year, including the first-ever touchscreen Mac Book (possibly called Mac Book Ultra), M6 machines, and updated iMac, Mac mini, and Mac Studio models.

The flagship Mac Book Ultra will feature Apple's first touchscreen and OLED display, ditching the notch for an iPhone-style Dynamic Island. Bloomberg reports it will be thinner than current MacBook Pros and run macOS 27.1 (likely late October), powered by M5 Pro and M5 Max chips.

Apple is also planning its first M6 Mac — an updated base MacBook Pro with faster memory bandwidth and improved CPU/GPU cores. The 24-inch iMac, last updated to M4 in October 2024, will likely get the M6 chip and new colors this fall.

Mac mini and Mac Studio updates are in flux. The Mac mini is testing M5 Pro and base M6 chips, while Mac Studio tests M5 Max and M5 Ultra. Bloomberg says release dates hinge on memory-chip supplies, making year-end launches uncertain.
