Meta is testing an AI-powered iPhone app called StoryKit: personalized stories, currently available in Mexico. The app generates personalized children's stories with illustrations, narration, and music based on user-created characters, chosen settings, and selected lessons.

Users can create a character, select a setting (e.g., enchanted forest, distant galaxy), and choose a moral lesson (e.g., kindness, courage, empathy). StoryKit can then produce the story as a Picture Book with illustrations and narration, an Audiobook for hands-free listening, or in a Read Aloud format for users to tell the story themselves.

This initiative reflects Meta's expanding AI efforts, following the replacement of its Llama models with Muse Spark, which now powers features across Meta's platforms like WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Messenger, and Threads.
