The games utilize modern smartphone capabilities like touch, tilt, photos, and music. Once saved to profiles, others can remix them into unique creations.

The term 'gizmos' reflects that these aren't just games - they include simple experiences like digital canvases. Meta hired nearly the entire team behind an app called Gizmo, which shut down after the acquisition.

Pocket is free to download and represents Meta's latest AI-forward move, following the launch of Vibes for the Meta AI app and AI-powered profile photo animations on Facebook.
