Meta has quietly launched an AI fashion app called Style Sketch in Indonesia, Singapore, and Thailand on Android and iOS. The app allows users to build a virtual closet from photos shared on social media or uploaded from their camera roll. Users can get outfit combination suggestions and try on different combinations on a virtual model that matches their body type and skin tone.

The app's existence was first reported by social media consultant Matt Navarra on X. Style Sketch can connect to Facebook and Instagram accounts to build a virtual closet, or users can upload existing photos or snap new pictures of their clothes. To get suggestions, users can pick any clothing item to build outfits around, specify the weather, or request outfit plans for trips.

Meta chief Mark Zuckerberg said earlier this year that the company is releasing many more apps since AI has made them easier to develop. These apps also help the company train their AI systems. Meta isn't the first to release an AI-powered fashion app—Google's AI Search has had a virtual clothes try-on feature since 2025, and OpenAI introduced a ChatGPT feature for virtual try-ons.
