Digital Extremes has officially launched Warframe for the Nintendo Switch 2 with its Shadowgrapher update, introducing the game's latest mode and a new playable warframe, Follie. The Switch 2 version is optimized for the console, delivering 60 FPS and 1080p resolution in both docked and handheld modes, alongside faster load times and Switch 2-optimized controls, including mouse support via the right Joy-Con.

The update enhances visual fidelity with DLSS, improved audio, shader quality, and volumetric lighting, bringing the game closer to its PC appearance. Players using Switch 2 between March 25 and April 15 will receive a free Ambimanus pack containing a Vericres Warfan weapon, warfan skin, Slicing Feathers mod, three-day affinity and credit boosters, a Broadsword Past/Future sigil, and the Buddies in Gaming glyph.

Follie, the new warframe, draws inspiration from inkblots and paintings, featuring abilities like a passive slow, damaging teleportation, Shadowgraphs—sketches that mark enemies on contact—and an ultimate ability that transforms foes into poppable balloons. She can be crafted after completing the Shadowgrapher quest and obtaining her blueprints.

This release strengthens Warframe's cross-platform accessibility, supporting cross-save and cross-play across all systems. The Switch 2 version addresses prior performance gaps on the original Switch, offering a visually and mechanically refined experience for both new and returning players.
