SilverStone has quietly listed the CS240, a Mini-ITX NAS chassis designed with four hot-swappable 2.5-inch U.2 drives within a compact 21.65-liter footprint. The case supports NVMe U.2, SAS, and SATA drives up to 15 mm thick, connecting via a backplane with dual SlimSAS 8i connectors running PCIe 4.0 x4. An additional internal bay accommodates one 3.5-inch or two 2.5-inch drives.

The CS240 is compatible with Deep Mini-ITX and Mini-DTX motherboards, offering two expansion slots and GPU clearance up to 300 mm in length and 168 mm in width, along with an integrated GPU support bracket. Cooling is managed by three pre-installed 120 mm fans (one rear, two side), with alternative mounting options for 80 mm fans and a 120 mm radiator at the rear.

CPU coolers up to 182 mm tall are supported, and the case utilizes SFX or SFX-L PSUs up to 140 mm. The front I/O panel includes one USB Type-C, two USB 3.0 ports, and a combo audio jack. While official pricing and availability remain unannounced, the SilverStone CS240 has been spotted on European retailer Alternate for €349.
