AMD has shipped its lowest-tier RDNA 4 graphics cards to OEMs and board partners, introducing the Radeon RX 9050 4 GB and 8 GB variants. The 4 GB model is a reduced version of the 8 GB card, with changes only in memory configuration.

Both cards feature 1,024 Streaming Processors across 16 Compute Units and boost up to 2.6 GHz. However, the 4 GB version uses GDDR6 on a 64-bit bus for 144 GB/s bandwidth, while the 8 GB version employs a 128-bit bus delivering 288 GB/s—double the throughput.

ASRock is the first launch partner with its Challenger 4 GB and 8 GB models. Both require a 450 W power supply and a single 8-pin PCIe connector, measuring 249 x 132 x 41 mm for broad compatibility. Pricing, availability, and TDP remain unannounced.
