AMD's ROCm 7.2.0 open-source software platform is now publicly available, adding support for two new RDNA 4 graphics cards. The update officially lists the consumer-grade Radeon RX 9060 XT LP 16 GB model and the workstation-class Radeon AI PRO 9600D 32 GB design, confirming their upcoming launch.

The low-power Radeon RX 9060 XT LP, built on the Navi 44 GPU, appeared quietly in December. A prototype was later spotted at CES 2026, suggesting a focus on small form-factor PCs. Speculation points to a potential region-exclusive release for the Chinese market, where compact, efficient graphics cards are in high demand.

Meanwhile, the passively-cooled Radeon AI PRO 9600D was unveiled last month. Its inclusion in ROCm 7.2.0, alongside partner card reveals, indicates that AMD's workstation and server solutions are nearing full availability. This software update likely signals imminent retail launches for both consumer and professional products.
