Microsoft and Ubisoft have launched a new initiative to enhance digital game value. Buyers of select Ubisoft titles on the Xbox Store will now receive a free PC license, redeemable through Ubisoft Connect. This partnership aims to bolster both Xbox's PC and console presence and digital game sales.

The agreement, effective for purchases made from July 21, will see PC licenses progressively added to user accounts, with completion expected by August 4. A total of 13 games are included in this offer. Notably, the cross-platform benefit is one-way; purchasing the PC version does not grant a free Xbox license. While season passes and DLC will transfer from Xbox to PC, consumables and single-use items will not. The redeemed PC games will be linked to the Ubisoft Connect platform.
