Injury & Rehab Updates

Dodgers left-hander Blake Snell is expected to return from the injured list Tuesday against the Royals, one day after Tarik Skubal makes his home debut. Yankees lefty Carlos Rodón begins a rehab assignment at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday as he works back from left elbow inflammation. Mets rookie Carson Benge exited Friday’s win with left wrist soreness after a sliding catch but X-rays were negative. The Rangers activated Jordan Montgomery from the 60-day injured list; the veteran left-hander will pitch out of the bullpen.

Roster Moves & Prospect Call-Ups

The first-place White Sox, who entered Saturday on a four-game losing streak, are calling up two pitching prospects from Triple-A Charlotte. Chicago also recalled catcher Edgar Quero after placing Joey Bart on the 10-day IL with a fractured finger. The Mets claimed infielder Gabriel Arias off waivers from the Guardians; he is expected to join the team Saturday.
