Peloton Interactive Inc. is eyeing its first-ever bond deal, sounding out investors for a potential $800 million sale, according to people with knowledge of the matter. In recent meetings arranged by Goldman Sachs Group Inc., the fitness technology company gauged investors’ interest in a secured bond offering that would yield about 8%, said the people, who asked not to be identified because they’re not authorized to speak publicly.

A final decision hasn’t been made, and a bond sale may not materialize, the people added. A representative for Goldman declined to comment, while a spokesperson for Peloton didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

A possible deal would mark the company’s debut bond offering, after it previously tapped leveraged loans in 2024. That $1 billion sale came with an interest rate of about 6 percentage points above the benchmark, and was part of a broader financing package that also included a convertible bond.
