Valeas Capital Partners and Kudu Investment Management-backed Sequoia Financial Group has acquired BSW Wealth Partners, a Colorado-based independent wealth management firm founded in 1992. BSW managed approximately $2.3 billion in client assets as of June 30, 2026, serving a national client base from offices in Boulder and Denver.

Following the acquisition, BSW will operate under the Sequoia Financial brand, providing its clients access to Sequoia's broader advisory bench, tax and estate planning specialists, family office services, and investment platform. "We highly value the bonds BSW has built with clients over the decades and the culture of its talented team," said Tom Haught, chairman and CEO of Sequoia Financial.

The deal deepens Sequoia's presence in the Boulder and Denver markets and follows the firm's purchase of Twin Cities-based All Star Financial in August. Sequoia now supports approximately 11,000 client households from 43 offices across all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Warner Norcross + Judd served as legal adviser to BSW, with Hue Partners providing consulting and strategic guidance. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
