Palworld has officially exited Early Access with its 1.0 update on Steam. The massive patch introduces 72 new Pals, bringing the total creature count to 287. Players can explore a new floating island area called The World Tree, alongside expanded original world content including new biomes, Ancient Ruins with minigames, and NPC settlements.

The update also overhauls late-game content, base building, combat, and life simulation mechanics. Pocketpair has added 13 new weapons, a new glider called the Wing Pack, new armor, and a mutation mechanic for pal breeding. Boss fights and pal skills have also been enhanced, with player motion rework aiming for faster-paced combat.

Developers advise players to remove existing mods before updating to prevent potential game-breaking bugs, such as crashes and corrupted save data. While Pocketpair supports modding, users should wait for mod creators to confirm compatibility with Palworld 1.0.
