Toyota has unveiled the 2026 bZ Woodland, an electric wagon that blends SUV capability with wagon practicality. The vehicle stretches 6 inches longer than the standard bZ, offering 33.8 cubic feet of cargo space and 8.3 inches of ground clearance. Toyota positions this as the perfect single-car solution for the electric age, targeting buyers who want both urban practicality and weekend adventure capability.

Powering the Woodland is a 375-horsepower electric drivetrain, making it the most potent bZ model yet. Toyota claims a 0-60 mph time of just 4.4 seconds, though the suspension tuning prioritizes comfort over sportiness. The vehicle weighs in at 4,500 pounds but rides on soft springs that float over rough roads better than most EVs in its class. Buyers can choose between all-season tires with a 281-mile range or all-terrain tires that reduce range to 260 miles.

The bZ Woodland fills a gap left by the increasingly SUV-like Subaru Outback, offering genuine off-road capability without sacrificing on-road comfort. With standard roof racks, multiple drive modes through the X-Mode system, and instant electric torque, Toyota has created an electric vehicle that doesn't force buyers to choose between practicality and adventure.
