As PCIe Gen 6 storage becomes increasingly important for AI infrastructure, cloud platforms, enterprise databases, and hyperscale data centers, SSD controllers must deliver significantly more than raw bandwidth. The Marvell Bravera SC6 SSD Controller (MV‑SF1410) addresses these challenges by combining PCIe Gen 6 connectivity, NVMe 2.2 compliance, support for high‑speed NAND flash, powerful multicore processing, integrated security and advanced reliability technologies into a single enterprise‑ready platform.

Memory‑Agnostic AI Architecture scales NVMe SSDs to tens or hundreds of terabytes at lower cost per gigabyte than HBM or DRAM. Modern PCIe Gen 6 NVMe SSDs deliver multi‑gigabyte‑per‑second throughput, millions of random IOPS, deep queue parallelism and efficient DMA‑based data movement, enabling rapid access to datasets far beyond accelerator memory.

The MV‑SF1410 supports PCIe Gen 6 with full backward compatibility to Gen 1‑5, a single‑port four‑lane configuration, and NVMe 2.2 compliance with end‑to‑end data protection. It uses a configurable NAND interface up to 3600 MT/s, 12 Arm Cortex‑R82 cores, dedicated Cortex‑M7 and Cortex‑M3 cores, and a secure Cortex‑M3 processor with AES, SHA, RSA and ECC hardware, plus an integrated RAID engine and LDPC error correction.

Designed for hyperscale AI and cloud deployments, the Bravera SC6 supports NAND from multiple suppliers, offering flexibility and consistent performance. The controller is expected to begin sampling in Q4 2026.
