HPE (NYSE: HPE) announced the first four HPE ProLiant Gen13 Servers powered by 6th Generation AMD EPYC Server processors. These systems expand compute, memory, and I/O capabilities to help enterprises accelerate agentic AI, inference, analytics, virtualization, simulation, and modeling while strengthening security and simplifying operations.

As AI evolves from generating insights to autonomous action, trust is critical. McKinsey's 2026 AI Trust Maturity Survey found nearly two-thirds of respondents cited security and risk as top barriers to scaling agentic AI. HPE ProLiant Gen13 addresses these with HPE iLO 8 innovations for automatic protection, infrastructure trust, and post-quantum readiness, plus enhanced visibility from HPE Compute Ops Management.

Krista Satterthwaite, SVP and GM, Compute at HPE, said, "Organizations need to turn their investments in agentic AI and inference into business value without adding operational complexity or risk." Dan McNamara, SVP and GM, Compute and Enterprise AI at AMD, added, "With 6th Gen AMD EPYC processors and HPE ProLiant Gen13, we are delivering the performance, efficiency, and flexibility enterprises need to scale AI."

The new servers include the HPE ProLiant DL585a Gen13, supporting up to eight double-wide PCIe GPUs and PCIe Gen 6, and the HPE ProLiant DL525 Gen13, a 1U single-socket system with up to 256 cores. Also introduced are the HPE ProLiant XD245 and XD285 servers, OCP-compliant with direct liquid cooling for high-density AI and HPC workloads.
