NHL Player Contract Updates

The NHL offseason continues to be a busy period for player contracts. The Winnipeg Jets have secured center Cole Perfetti on a five-year, $30 million deal, avoiding salary arbitration agreed to terms. Defenseman Jamie Drysdale also inked a new contract, signing a four-year, $26 million agreement with the Philadelphia Flyers agreed to terms. In St. Louis, the Blues have locked up forward Connor McMichael with a six-year, $40.5 million extension signed forward. The Utah Mammoth have made a significant commitment to defenseman John Marino, signing him to an eight-year, $54 million extension signed defenseman. Meanwhile, Dallas Stars forward Jason Robertson, who led the team with 96 points last season, accepted a $12 million deal, bypassing a salary arbitration hearing accepted a deal.
