Injury Report

The Rangers placed Nathan Eovaldi on the 15-day IL with elbow inflammation. Giants third baseman Matt Chapman will undergo season-ending abdominal surgery on Tuesday; the 33-year-old had seven home runs and 42 RBIs over 84 games. The Phillies placed reliever Caleb Kilian on the IL with a left oblique strain before Monday's series opener. The Mets placed Devin Williams on the 15-day IL with a right shoulder strain, though interim manager Andy Green does not expect a long-term absence. Tampa Bay placed Griffin Jax on the IL with elbow discomfort. Reds right-hander Hunter Greene will undergo season-ending UCL surgery after a second opinion, sidelining him at least through 2026.

Roster Moves

The Diamondbacks added Michael Soroka from the IL and signed Zack Littell to a one-year contract. The Red Sox are expected to activate catcher Adley Rutschman on Tuesday after his IL stint.
