Google is expanding its Connected Apps feature in AI Mode for U.S. users, integrating services like Instacart, YouTube Music, and Canva. This allows users to leverage Google's AI for tasks directly within Search.

Users can now connect their YouTube Music accounts to AI Mode to generate personalized playlists, with the AI considering factors like age to curate songs from different eras. For grocery shopping, Instacart can be integrated, enabling users to prompt AI to fill their cart based on their needs, select a preferred store, and then complete the purchase via Instacart.

Canva is also integrated, allowing users to request AI-generated designs for banners and promotional materials. The AI's creations can then be edited within the Canva app. Google stated that this is an initial phase of expansion, with more partner services expected to be added soon.
