Roblox is launching "Build," an AI-powered game creation tool for mobile devices, later this year. This new feature will allow users to generate interactive experiences using natural language prompts, marking the first time game creation will be directly accessible on smartphones and tablets within the platform.

The toolset leverages a combination of open-source and proprietary AI models. A limited alpha test begins for users in New Zealand on July 28th, with wider availability planned for the following months. Players aged 9 and older can use Build, and any published creations passing safety checks will be accessible to those 16 and up.
