Leakster Digital Chat Station has revealed early details for Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro (SM8975) and Media Tek's Dimensity 9600 Pro flagship chipsets. Both will be fabricated on TSMC's 2nm N2P process node. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro features an 8-core CPU configuration of 2x 5.01GHz Prime cores, 3x 4.03GHz, and 3x 3.74GHz cores, breaking the 5GHz barrier.

It includes the Adreno 850 GPU with 3 slices, 18MB graphics memory, and 8MB Last Level Cache (LLC). A non-Pro variant (SM8950) will use the Adreno 845 with 2 slices, 12MB graphics memory, and 6MB LLC. Media Tek's Dimensity 9600 Pro utilizes Arm-designed cores: 2x 4.55GHz Canyon (likely C2-Ultra), 3x 4.35GHz Gelas-b (C2-Premium), and 3x 3.10GHz Gelas (C1-Pro). Its GPU is the Arm G2-Ultra NX MC12, a 16-core design with 8 traditional and 8 NX tensor-accelerated cores, previously seen on the Xiaomi Xring O3 chip.
