Apple is preparing to release updates for its mac OS and iOS operating systems. A forthcoming mac OS Tahoe 26.5.2 update is expected soon, alongside the second developer beta of iOS 27. This latest iOS beta introduces enhancements to the Messages app, including improved RCS support for iPhone-to-Android conversations with inline replies. Additionally, the Home app in iOS 27 beta 2 now allows for remote Apple TV software updates, a change that hints at Apple's long-rumored home hub ambitions. The Photos app also sees an update with an "Extend" tool that expands images using Apple Intelligence. A notable removal from the App Store with iOS 27 will be the AirPort Utility app.
