Samsung is reportedly expanding its Care Plus program to offer full device replacements within 48 hours, starting with the Galaxy S26 series. According to a report from Android Authority, this new benefit is currently exclusive to U.K. customers and marks a significant upgrade to Samsung's device protection offerings.

This follows recent enhancements to Care Plus, including unlimited battery repairs for devices with capacity below 79% and free screen repairs for users with Theft & Loss coverage. The battery repair benefit requires no additional damage and active coverage, while screen repairs are available through walk-in or mail-in services for eligible devices.

The device replacement feature could make Care Plus more attractive to consumers, especially with the Galaxy S26 launch. While the U.K. exclusivity is disappointing for other markets, Samsung may expand this benefit globally later. For now, Galaxy S26 owners in the U.K. will be first in line for this comprehensive protection, potentially making the Care Plus subscription a more compelling purchase decision.
