Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2, confirming the series will stream on October 20. The 10-episode second season follows an entirely new cast of mercenaries in Night City, described as "a raw chronicle of redemption and revenge in a city that thrives on violence." Co-produced by CD Projekt Red and Studio Trigger, the season is standalone. Kai Ikarashi directs, with returning veterans Bartosz Sztybor as producer/showrunner, Masahiko Otsuka as writer, and Ichigo Kanno as lead character designer.

The teaser introduces new edgerunners, netrunners, and a kid-with-a-camera, showcasing a "reimagined animation style" that appears grimier than the first season. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners gained critical acclaim and boosted Cyberpunk 2077's popularity on Steam, with CD Projekt Red already developing a sequel.
