Apple is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the original iPod with a hidden Easter egg in the Apple Music web player. Accessing a broken page reveals a fully interactive virtual iPod complete with a click wheel and a library of 1,029 playable songs. The interface mimics the classic 2000s design, featuring artists like Baha Men, blink-182, and Eminem.
Users can navigate playlists, artists, and settings, though the experience is limited to 90-second track previews. The virtual device also includes the classic game Brick, accessible by holding the center button on the About screen. Notably, the feature works without an active Apple Music subscription, offering a nostalgic trip for long-time fans of the iconic MP3 player.
