Google rolled out version v5.02 of its Health app on June 18, restoring the long‑missing Hourly Activity chart to the Today and Health tabs. The patch adds extra metrics that appear without switching screens, letting users see step‑by‑hour goals alongside other data. rollout begins now and will cascade across Android devices over the next few weeks for many.

Android users also gain finer control over the Health tab, where a long‑press now lets them drag any chart to a new position via the Customize menu. A dedicated Naps tab surfaces recorded daytime sleep within the daily Sleep Score view, and the update finally now allows deletion or editing of individual sleep sessions that previously could not be changed.

iOS users must wait for version 5.03 to receive the same reorder and nap features, highlighting Google’s staggered rollout strategy. By re‑introducing granular activity data and polishing sleep management, the company aims to close the gap left by the retired Fitbit app and keep health‑tracking users engaged on Android. The changes arrive as Google positions the Health app as the platform’s primary wellness hub today.
