Google Health app is rolling out v5.04 on Android and iOS, with a primary focus on enhancing Nutrition Logging features. The update introduces "custom foods," allowing users to create, edit, and delete their own food entries with greater freedom and a built-in search function for easier logging.

Additionally, the app now offers "Quick Logging" for calories and macro estimates, providing an alternative to searching for specific food names. A fix for macronutrient percentages is also included. Cycle Health trends have been refined for chronological viewing, and naps will now appear in the "Today" tab.

This update builds on recent improvements, including the addition of various health metric tiles in v5.03, such as heart rate variability, SpO2, and different nutrient intakes. For iOS users, a fix addresses incomplete heart rate charts and maps, and they can now invite friends more effectively. The Google Health app continues to evolve with consistent updates.
