Veteran Returns & Departures
Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III has agreed to sign with the Chiefs. Travis Kelce informed the Chiefs he's returning for his 14th season. The Steelers are re-signing cornerback Asante Samuel Jr. to a one-year, $4 million deal. The Jaguars will keep cornerback Montaric "Buster" Brown with a three-year, $33 million contract. The Texans are retaining guard Ed Ingram and defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins with multiyear deals.
Trades & Transactions
The Dolphins are sending Minkah Fitzpatrick to the Jets for a 2026 seventh-round pick. The Packers are finalizing a deal to send defensive lineman Rashan Gary to the Cowboys for a 2027 draft pick. The Bengals will not tender restricted free agent quarterback Jake Browning.

The Falcons are expected to pursue Tua Tagovailoa in free agency after the Dolphins informed him he'll be released. Former Packers QB Willis has reached a deal with the Dolphins.
