Tadej Pogacar Dominates Strade Bianche for Record Fourth Win

Tadej Pogacar secured his record fourth Strade Bianche victory with a decisive solo attack on the Monte Sante Marie gravel sector. The Slovenian champion, already a four-time Tour de France winner, broke away from the peloton and never looked back in the 184km one-day classic through Tuscany's white roads. His UAE Team Emirates squad dominated the race, with Jan Christen finishing fifth and Tom Pidcock sixth.

Pogacar's winning move came on the same gravel section where he triumphed two years ago, demonstrating his mastery of this challenging terrain. When his teammate Isaac Del Toro bridged across to a late attack by France's Lenny Seixas, only Del Toro could follow, refusing to help chase down his own team leader. The 26-year-old Pogacar admitted he pushed hard on the steepest climb, then saw his opportunity to go solo when Seixas couldn't close the gap.

The women's race saw a dramatic finish with four riders contesting the final climb up to Siena's Piazza del Campo. Switzerland's Elisa Longo Borghini led most of the ascent before Katarzyna Niewiadoma launched a decisive move in the final corner. The 32-year-old Chabbey timed her sprint perfectly to claim victory ahead of Niewiadoma, with Germany's Franziska Koch rounding out the podium.
