Wrexham nears deal for Crystal Palace's Danny Imray

Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson is reportedly close to signing Crystal Palace wing-back Danny Imray. This move aims to strengthen Wrexham's wing-back options after Issa Kabore's loan ended.

Imray has not yet debuted for Palace's senior team but has gained significant experience through loans. He was loaned back to Chelmsford City after joining Palace permanently in 2021. For the 2024-25 season, he impressed on loan at Bromley, making 43 appearances and scoring twice. He then moved to League One side Blackpool for the first half of the 2025-26 season before a January transfer to Championship club West Brom.

At West Brom, Imray played 17 times, including a match against Wrexham. While Parkinson plans limited squad changes after securing promotion, potential additions include a goalkeeper, centre-back, central midfielder, and forward, alongside Imray.
