Wrexham has secured the signing of wing-back Danny Imray from Premier League club Crystal Palace for an undisclosed fee, reported to be around £5 million ($6.7m). The 23-year-old has inked a four-year contract, marking him as the Welsh club's first summer acquisition. Imray, who previously had a loan spell with West Brom, returns to the Championship aiming to bolster Wrexham's promotion aspirations.

Imray expressed enthusiasm for Wrexham's trajectory and its off-field endeavors, influenced by the "Welcome to Wrexham" docuseries. Wrexham, under the ownership of Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac, recently missed out on promotion playoffs after achieving three consecutive promotions. Imray will join the team's US preseason tour, including a match against Liverpool at Yankee Stadium.

In a separate move, former Wrexham striker Paul Mullin has joined League Two side Rotherham on a two-year deal following the mutual termination of his contract. Mullin was instrumental in Wrexham's rise from the National League to the Championship, scoring 110 goals in 172 appearances and earning three consecutive player of the season awards. He was also a prominent figure in the "Welcome to Wrexham" series.
