Lenovo has released its 20th annual sustainability report for FY2025/26, detailing the achievement of most ESG targets from its first five-year plan. The company now sources approximately 90% of its operational electricity from renewables and incorporates recycled plastic into every PC. Lenovo remains on track for net-zero emissions by 2050.

Over the past five years, Lenovo reports recycling or reusing about 800 million pounds of end-of-life equipment and using 300 million pounds of post-consumer recycled plastic across its products. Its Neptune liquid cooling technology is also helping data centers reduce energy consumption. Key climate data is third-party verified and SBTi validated.

The report highlights progress in circular economy initiatives, with every PC containing recycled content and smartphone packaging utilizing up to 60% recycled material. Lenovo also emphasizes repairability, with 84% of repairs handled on-site, and 76% of reparable parts returned to circulation. Social initiatives have reached 25 million people, and the company is pursuing diversity targets for executive positions. Lenovo received numerous recognitions, including an Eco Vadis Platinum medal and CDP 'A List' placement.
