Lenovo's collaboration with iFixit, which began two years ago, demonstrates that repairability can coexist with premium business laptop expectations. The new models feature easily swapped batteries, standard M.2 SSD storage, and one of the easiest keyboard replacement procedures. Modular Thunderbolt ports and LPCAMM2 memory represent significant engineering improvements that make repairs practical rather than merely possible.
