Lenovo has officially released the Legion R9000P featuring a breakthrough Inkjet-printed OLED (IJP OLED) display from TCL CSOT, a subsidiary of TCL Technology. This partnership marks the first time TCL CSOT's IJP OLED technology has been integrated into a laptop, signaling a substantial step forward in commercializing this next-generation display technology.

The 16-inch screen supports an ultra-high 240 Hz refresh rate and utilizes a Real RGB Stripe subpixel arrangement that resolves text blurring and color fringing issues. It covers over 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut with consistent performance across all brightness levels, suitable for professional design and entertainment.

IJP OLED uses inkjet printing to form organic light-emitting films, eliminating expensive vacuum thermal evaporation equipment and fine metal masks. This streamlines production, reduces costs, and retains OLED's high contrast and color performance. TCL CSOT has developed this technology for over a decade, with its 5.5-generation production line in Wuhan entering mass production in November 2024, followed by the world's first 8.6-generation line.
