Icy Dock has introduced the ExpressCage MB326SP-1B, a 6-bay 2.5" SATA/SAS SSD/HDD mobile rack designed to fit into a standard 5.25" optical drive bay. Targeted at NAS servers, homelab systems, compact workstations, and small business servers, the enclosure offers high-density storage with tool-less removable tray design.

The MB326SP-1B supports drives from 5-9.5 mm in height and enables hot-swapping without opening the chassis, making it ideal for testing drive types, expanding RAID volumes, or managing backups. It accommodates SATA III 6 Gbps and single-channel SAS drives, with power supplied via two 15-pin SATA connectors for all six drives.

Cooling is handled by dual rear-mounted 40 mm fans with three speed modes: HIGH, LOW, and OFF. Each bay includes a blue activity LED, and the locking-latch design ensures secure SATA data and power connections. The enclosure also features Active Power Technology to reduce power consumption.

Additional features include optional screw mounting for vibration-prone environments, integrated cable management, and compatibility with M.2 SATA SSDs via the EZConvert adapter. The durable metal enclosure is suited for power users and system builders requiring space-efficient storage solutions.
