German audio specialist beyerdynamic is expanding its MMX gaming range with two new wireless headsets: the closed-back MMX 100 wireless and the open-back MMX 130 wireless. Both models are based on the company's audio DNA, offering distinct gaming experiences tailored to personal listening preferences.

The MMX 100 wireless features a closed-back design to minimize ambient noise, ideal for focused gaming. It includes a detachable MET A VOICE microphone, Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity, and a lightweight 275-gram build with soft velour ear pads.

The MMX 130 wireless offers an open-back design for a spacious soundstage, perfect for immersive RPGs and simulations. It uses a titanium-coated 40 mm driver and weighs just 265 grams with breathable velour ear pads.

According to Matthias Heilig, Product Marketing Manager for Gaming at beyerdynamic, the headsets provide "two different ways to experience their games." The MMX 100 wireless launches on 1 September 2026 at £89 GBP, while the MMX 130 wireless follows in October 2026 at £109 GBP. Both will debut at gamescom 2026 in Cologne.
