Hooded Horse and Unfrozen Studio, in partnership with Ubisoft, have confirmed that Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era will launch into Early Access on April 30, 2026. The turn-based strategy title will be available on PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store through Game Preview, with PC Game Pass access from day one.

The game represents the first new entry in the Heroes of Might and Magic series in over a decade, targeting both longtime fans and newcomers. Built on the franchise's established foundation, it introduces procedurally generated maps alongside hand-crafted scenarios, featuring empire-building mechanics, tactical battles, and RPG elements. Players can engage through multiple modes including narrative campaigns, skirmish battles, and multiplayer.

Localization will support 15 languages at launch, including English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Turkish, Ukrainian, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. The game's Early Access release marks a significant return for one of strategy gaming's most celebrated franchises, promising to deliver both familiar gameplay and fresh content to a dedicated player base.
