Hooded Horse and Ubisoft have unveiled the development roadmap for Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era, just as the turn-based strategy title crossed 1 million copies sold in its first month. The early access strategy game has already exceeded sales expectations, validating the franchise's continued relevance in the PC gaming market.

Immediate priorities include Teamplay mode, Hero skill rebalancing, and refinements to the random map generator based on launch feedback. These core systems will receive attention first, addressing player concerns about multiplayer functionality and character progression balance that emerged during the initial release period.

Later updates will introduce Observer mode, Elite Class reworks, and matchmaking improvements slated for this year. The broader early access goals encompass Underground terrain, Map Editor upgrades, Ironman campaign mode, and eventually a completed single-player campaign with map-sharing support and new PvE content.

The game remains available in early access through Steam and Microsoft Store for $39.99, with ongoing updates planned for heroes, spells, creatures, and UI improvements. This post-launch support strategy mirrors successful early access titles that maintain community engagement while expanding core gameplay systems.
