Exactly a week after the game crossed the 2 million sales mark in less than 24 hours, Ubisoft announced that Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced has officially sold 3 million units. The title has also managed decent player retention, with SteamDB still reporting around 45,000‑60,000 peak concurrent daily players on Steam.

Black Flag Resynced remains a strong revenue generator, sitting in fifth place on the Steam Top Sellers chart, which measures financial performance. Reviews continue to trend positive, even though early user reviews on Steam took a dim view of the in‑game microtransactions.

In the X post announcing the sales figures, Ubisoft confirmed that the remake will receive more content later in the form of New Game+ gameplay, though it’s unclear what shape this will take or when it will launch. The title still lags behind games like Resident Evil Requiem, which sold 5 million units in its first week, and pales in comparison to the recent Palworld 1.0 launch that drew over 850,000 peak concurrent players on launch day.
