Ceva, the silicon‑and‑software licensor, unveiled Real Space Elevate for Windows, a Microsoft-certified audio processing object that lets PC gaming headset makers embed fully customizable spatial audio. The production‑ready APO ships as a drop‑in component for Windows PCs, giving OEMs a turnkey way to add 7.1‑style sound without building a proprietary stack. It targets both high‑end and mid‑range models, scaling performance to match hardware budgets.

OEMs have struggled with existing solutions that either rely on OS‑level APIs, limiting brand differentiation, or on third‑party apps that drive up cost and fragment the user experience. Real Space Elevate balances ease of deployment with deep control, allowing manufacturers to tune audio, brand the UI, and push game‑specific presets for footsteps, gunshots and ambient cues. The app shows tuning options and can be labeled.

The solution supports precise sound localization and natural externalization, letting gamers gauge direction and distance of in‑game events for competitive advantage. With the APO already available, headset makers can ship differentiated audio experiences today, cutting development cycles and licensing overhead. Early adopters include major headset brands planning Q4 rollouts.
