Embark Studios has announced that Expeditions in Arc Raiders will be paused after the fifth installment, which begins on August 21 and runs through September 8 to September 29. The decision comes after community feedback highlighted several issues requiring more than minor adjustments.

The studio cited tight departure windows, new player accessibility, and reward structures as key concerns needing significant redesign. Embark emphasized that the pause allows time to implement substantial changes, with Expeditions expected to return in early 2027.

Importantly, player progress will not be lost during the pause. Consecutive buffs earned will persist, and those who complete all five Expeditions will unlock the exclusive Zenith Outfit. Partially completed Caravans will be reset and compensated with Ermal Vouchers of equal value for in-game purchases.

Embark Studios noted that while ongoing improvements had been made, player feedback revealed deeper systemic issues. The team encouraged continued feedback as they work on the major Expedition rework, promising more details in September.
