Jack Pridham and San O'Reilly sparked a 37‑second power‑play burst early in the third, turning a tight contest into a decisive win. The Kitchener Rangers defeated the Everett Silvertips 6‑2 to capture the Memorial Cup in Kelowna, marking the franchise’s third Cup and fourth overall title since its 1952 Guelph Biltmores era. The win gave Kitchener its first championship since 2003, reinforcing a storied tradition.

Kitchener’s offense clicked, with O'Reilly adding three assists for a four‑point night. Luke Ellinas, Dylan Edwards, Jared Woolley and Christian Humphreys each found the net, while goaltender Christian Kirsch stopped 30 shots. Anders Miller backstopped Everett with 26 saves, keeping the game close until the third‑period surge. Everett’s goals came from Matias Vanhanen and Carter Bear, and 17‑year‑old defenseman Landon DuPont added two assists.

The victory ends Everett’s bid to join the limited list of U.S. clubs to win the Cup; only Portland, Spokane and Saginaw have done so. After beating Kitchener 6‑2 in round‑robin, the Silvertips advanced past Chicoutimi 6‑1 before falling in the final. The Rangers' triumph also secures a spot in the upcoming CHL Hall of Fame ceremony, celebrating the club’s historic achievements.
