Tomas Lavoie scored the Sagueneens' lone goal, while Lucas Beckman and Raphael Precourt split time in net. Everett's earlier 5-3 win over Chicoutimi in the round-robin opener showed their dominance, but Sunday's final will test whether they can overcome Kitchener's recent success.

The Silvertips proved they belong on hockey's biggest junior stage, but the championship game will determine if they can join the ranks of Memorial Cup champions.
