San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges Monday following his arrest in Ohio on suspicion of engaging in prostitution. According to Columbiana County court records, York allegedly responded to an undercover ad and arranged sexual activity for $140. He was arrested Sunday at 9:35 a.m. at the Wheat Hill Mobile Home Community by the East Palestine Police Department, which assisted the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force.

York paid $1,150 in fines and received one day in jail for each charge, with time already served. The original charge of engaging in prostitution was amended to disorderly conduct as part of a plea agreement. Local prosecutor Vito Abruzzino described the outcome as routine for first-time offenders facing such charges.

The 49ers stated they would not comment further as the legal matter is resolved. The NFL noted it is aware of the incident and will review it under its personal conduct policy. York has been the team's CEO since 2008 and majority owner since 2024.
