Apple today seeded the seventh beta of watchOS 27 to developers, arriving one week after the sixth beta. The update is available via the Watch app on iPhone with a free developer account, requiring the Apple Watch to be charging, on Wi-Fi, and at 50% battery or higher. The beta supports all compatible models except the Apple Watch Ultra 3.

watchOS 27 introduces Siri AI, a more capable assistant that handles back-and-forth conversations and accesses world knowledge and personal data. Siri AI requires an iPhone supporting Apple Intelligence, such as the iPhone 15 Pro or later. New features include a Dynamic app grid highlighting Siri suggestions, enhanced Smart Stack Suggestions for parked car location, pinned messages, noise alerts, and identity and transit cards.

Liquid Glass has been updated for better legibility. Workout Buddy now functions without a nearby iPhone and adds progressive metrics for distance, pace, and duration.
