Tecno has unveiled the Pop X 5G, the latest addition to its budget-friendly Pop series. The smartphone features a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset paired with a massive 6,500mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging. The device sports a fresh horizontal camera visor design on the back, constructed from 6-series aerospace-grade aluminum for durability.

The Pop X 5G sports a 6.78-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smooth scrolling and responsive touch interactions. The screen reaches 560 nits peak brightness and includes a punch-hole cutout for an 8MP front-facing camera. Around the back, users will find a 13MP main camera accompanied by an LED flash, housed in the distinctive camera visor.

Tecno has equipped the device with practical features including IP64 ingress protection, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone runs HiOS 16 based on Android 16, complete with Tecno's AI suite featuring tools like AI Noise Cancellation and AI Eraser 2.0. FreeLink capabilities enable direct communication between compatible Tecno devices without cellular connectivity. Available in Midnight Blue and Ripple Green, the Pop X 5G starts at INR 15,999 ($172) for the 4GB/128GB model, with sales beginning April 24 via Amazon India.
