A new leak suggests Poco is preparing to launch a Poco X8 Power variant featuring a massive 10,000mAh battery. The device is rumored to be a rebranded Redmi Note 17 Pro Max, which is expected to debut next week. The Poco X8 Power is tipped to sport a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It reportedly carries an IP69 rating and measures 8.68mm in thickness. Under the hood, the phone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The device is also said to receive four years of OS updates and six years of security updates. For photography, the Poco X8 Power is rumored to feature a 50MP primary rear camera alongside an 8MP ultrawide camera, while selfies are reportedly handled by a 32MP front-facing camera. The Poco X8 series currently includes the X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max models, with a base X8 model also rumored to be in development.

The leak comes from a well-known tipster who shared the phone's full specifications. If confirmed, the Poco X8 Power would join the expanding X8 lineup. The device's 10,000mAh battery would make it one of the highest-capacity smartphones available. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset suggests a focus on efficiency rather than flagship performance. With UFS 4.0 storage and LPDDR5X RAM, the phone should offer solid performance for everyday tasks.

The camera setup appears competitive with a 50MP main sensor and 32MP front camera. The promised software support of four years of OS updates and six years of security updates is notably generous for a mid-range device.
