Tecno unveiled the Pova 8 Pro last week, confirming an India launch on August 18 with sales starting August 21 via Flipkart. The 8/256GB model is priced ₹50,000 and the 12/512GB variant ₹55,000, with a ₹3,000 instant cashback and no-cost EMI up to 18 months.

The phone features a 6.78" OLED display with 1208p+ resolution and 144Hz refresh rate, powered by a Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chip paired with a P1 Graphic Chip and a 5,000mm² vapor chamber. A 50MP main camera uses a 1/1.56" Sony Lytia 700C sensor with OIS, alongside an 8MP ultra-wide. A unique circular dot matrix display with 177 LEDs handles notifications across 49 customizable scenarios.

The device runs Hi OS 16 (Android 16) with two promised updates, measures 7.4mm thick at 189g, and packs a 6,500mAh battery with 45W charging (50% in 28 minutes) rated for 2,000 cycles. It carries IP69K resistance and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. A Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition was also announced but isn't yet available.
