The Redmi A7 has received certification from Thailand's NBTC and the EEC, suggesting an imminent launch alongside the recently certified Redmi A7 Pro. The entry-level device carries model number 26020RNB4A and will be 4G-only, mirroring its Pro counterpart. These phones may also be sold as Poco C81 and Poco C81 Pro in certain markets.

Both models are expected to feature the Unisoc T7250 chipset with 4GB of RAM, positioning them firmly in the budget segment. The Redmi A7 will reportedly sport a 6.9-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 128GB of storage, and a 6,000 mAh battery supporting 15W wired charging. Camera specifications include a 50MP main sensor and 13MP front-facing camera.

These specifications confirm Xiaomi's strategy of offering affordable smartphones with modern features like high refresh rates. The Redmi A7 and A7 Pro represent the company's continued push into emerging markets with cost-effective devices that don't compromise on battery life or display quality. While pricing remains unknown, the specs suggest these will be competitively priced entry-level options when they launch.
